About Winning Power

Practical guides for the things that quietly decide how your week goes: how much you move, how well you sleep, what your bills cost, and the conversations nobody starts — about your own health, and about the fights that happen at your kitchen table every night.

The premise

Most advice in these areas fails for the same reason. It asks you to add something — a workout, a routine, an hour — to a schedule that is already full, and then treats the failure as a discipline problem.

It usually isn't. A desk job removes daily movement without ever presenting it as a choice. Short sleep changes your appetite before willpower gets a vote. A bill creeps up because nobody at the call centre volunteers the promotion you already qualify for. A four-minute appointment hands you a prescription instead of a workup.

These are structural problems wearing a costume. The guides here are built to change the structure rather than to demand more of you.

How the guides are written

  • The problem first, the product second. If the free version answers your question completely, that's a good outcome.
  • Sourced where it matters. Where a number appears, its source is named on the same page.
  • No promised outcomes. Nothing here says you will lose a specific amount or save a specific amount. That isn't caution for its own sake — anyone who promises you a number doesn't know your circumstances.
  • Written to be used, not admired. These are guides, not books. If a thing can be said in four pages it is said in four pages.
  • Some rules are absolute. The guides about feeding and moving with your children contain no weight talk, no calorie counts and no comments about a child's body — not once, anywhere. The evidence supports that, and it would be the rule regardless.

Where to start

The free guides are the front door and there are six of them — complete guides, no email wall, no form in the way.

If you want the whole map rather than one answer, the full library is twenty-seven guides and nine bundles on a single page, sorted by the problem each one solves.
